Evangelization through parish missions

The joy of the gospel fills the hearts and lives of all who encounter Jesus. (...) I invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment, to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ, or at least an openness to letting him encounter them;
— Pope Francis, Evangelii Gaudium, 1.3

As missionary disciples we thirst for life and we want to share it. Evangelization through Parish Missions aims at encouraging all to encounter the Living Christ, praying with people and for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the individuals and parish community, cooperating with the local clergy and laity involved in parish life in discerning and responding to the spiritual and physical need of parishioners and in advancing of the parish particular mission.

We are serving and equipping others through:

  • preaching of the Word of God (leading Lectio Divina, kerygmatic preaching leading to stepping into the initial or deeper commitment in life with Jesus as His disciple and beloved child of God),
  • sharing stories and testimonies glorifying God's redeeming acts in our lives (adults and youth),
  • leading prayers of traditional popular piety (Litanies, Chaplets, simple Gregorian chant, chanted Liturgy of the Hours, Eucharistic Adoration),
  • leading various forms of prayers and worship (Taize chants, Charismatic and spontaneous prayers, praise and worship),
  • individual and communal intercessory prayer covering preparations, people and parish issues,
  • witnessing about Acts 2 form of life in an ecclesial community by serving in unity, promoting each other's gifts and inviting all to share this experience with us,
  • individual conversations and contact,
  • offering weekend training in leading of Bible studies, starting Spiritual Reading classes (not just a book club), Life in the Spirit (includes Charismatic Gifts and contemplative understanding of spirituality), Preparation for a lay Missionary lifestyle (based on our experiences in missionary life spent in Russia, Poland Saudi Arabia and Qatar, 1991-2003), Relationship and Street Evangelization, Small Group Leading and Discipleship, chanting LOTH, Establishing Ecclesial Community in parish, Developing Leadership among youth and young adults, Leading prayer meeting, Leading praise and worship.
